Antha Cook, Thomas Fail

Antha Cook was the daughter of Willie Eugene Cook and Eliza Jane Aaron. She was born on 4 March 1910 and died on 25 August 2009 in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She is buried in Holder's Cemetery in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Antha C. Fail, 99, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Holders Methodist Church Cemetery in Bay Springs.
     She was a retired homemaker and member of Holders Methodist Church.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lovard Fail; parents, William and Eliza Cook; and grandson, Dennis Downs.
     Survivors include three daughters, Christine Downs of Bay Springs, Vida Dare Kelly of Pascagoula and Jimmie Ashley of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Glen Downs (Kaye), Lynn Kelly Green (Mike), Diane Kelly Vickers (Ben), Jason Ashley (Kelli) and Joseph Ashley; seven great-grandchildren, Jennifer Vickers Gill (Nathan), John Ladson Vickers, Kelly Laurel Green, Benton Green, Madison Ashley, Jaye Ashley and Joseph "Bo" Ashley; and two great-great-grandchildren, Noah Harrison Gill and Ava Elizabeth Gill.

Thomas Lovard Fail was born on 22 November 1901 and died on 29 October 1992. He is buried in Holder's Cemetery in Jasper County, Mississippi.

They had the following children:

Christine Fail was born on 19 September 1930. She married a Downs. She birthed two children: Dennis and Glen.

Vida Dare Fail was born ???. She married a Kelly. She birthed two children: Diane and Lynn.

Jimmie Fail was born ???. She married a Ashley. She birthed two children: Jason and Joseph.
