Barbara Ann Menasco McLeod, 64, a native of Pachuta, Miss., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.
She was a high school and college teacher who earned multiple masters degrees.
Survivors include her husband, Bill McLeod of Bay Minette; two daughters, Deana (Mike) Salyers and Dana McLeod, both of Bay Minette; three grandchildren, Destin Alan Salyers, Logan Salyers and Dakota McLeod; two brothers, Buck Menasco of Many, La., and Johnny Menasco of Mobile; and one sister, Faye Weaver of Pamplico, S.C.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 15 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Lemuel "Doc" Rich officiating. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were, Roy McLeod, Duane McLeod, Scott McLeod, Bobby Menasco, Dow Foxx and Mike Salyers.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
Clyde W. McLeod was born on 3 August 1944.
They had the following children:
Deana Marie McLeod was born in 1966. She married Mike Salyers. She birthed two children: Destin and Logan.
