Velma Cox, Charlie Culpepper

Velma Cox was the daughter of George Washington Cox and Nora Cornelia Ivey. She was born on 16 August 1922 in Clarke County, Mississippi and died on 16 March 2014 in Quitman, Mississippi.

Velma Cox Culpepper, 91, of Quitman, passed away on March 16, 2014 at Lakeside Living Center. She was born on August 16, 1922 to George and Nora (Ivey) Cox in Clarke County, MS.
     Velma is survived by her brothers, Pete Cox and Irby Cox and sisters, Catherine Mosley, Christine Poole and Ruby Mosley.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, C. H. Culpepper; sons, Danny Culpepper and David Culpepper; parents, George Washington and Nora Cornelia Cox; brothers, George, Richard, Buddy and Jack Cox; and sisters, Eula Thomas, Nora Williams and Polly Ray.
     Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 11:00 am at the Mont Rose Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.

Charlie Harvey Culpepper was the son of Charlie Harvey Culpepper and Claudia Riley. He was born on 18 June 1921 in Quitman, Mississippi and died on 26 May 1979 in Quitman, Mississippi. He is buried in Mont Rose Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarke County, Mississippi.

David Larry Culpepper was born on 20 June 1954 and died on 11 January 2008 in Panama. He fathered two children: Michelle and Jonathan.

Diane Culpepper was born ???. She married Eddie Bonman.
