Doris Merline Stewart, 74, of Mt. Olive, MS, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Arrington Living Center in Collins, MS.
Funeral services were held at: 10:30 A.M. on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mt. Olive.
Burial followed in Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 13, 2014, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mt. Olive.
Preceded in death by: husband, Jimmie Dale Stewart; parents, Abner Hinkle Stallings and Sally (Sara Ann) Cook; grandchildren, Jared Todd and Celeste Todd.
Survivors include: daughters, Jo Ann Todd (Bruce) of Mt. Olive, Tammy Ingram (Roland) of Mt. Olive; son, Stacy Stewart of Mt. Olive; grandchildren, Brandon Todd, Kegan Taylor (Brittany); brothers, James Stallings, Doyle Stallings and Shelton Stallings; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Brandon Todd, Kegan Taylor, Dewayne Stallings, Byron Stallings, Larry Lee and Chad Lee.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mt. Olive, MS is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rock Hill Baptist Church building fund or cemetery fund.
