Services for Elizabeth Maude "Betty" Collins Ethridge will be held today, November 21, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ethridge, 80 of Meridian died Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center, South. She was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Clark, 71, passed away on Sat., Nov. 19, 2011 at her residence in the Dixon Community. She was a homemaker. Her hobby was spending time with her family. Mrs.
Clark was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church.
Melvin Lavelle Mardis

Services for Melvin Lavelle Mardis will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Stephen's Funeral Home in Meridian.
Mr. Mardis, age 86, a longtime native of Meridian, MS and most recently Enterprise, MS, passed away November 18, 2011, at the VA Home in Collins, MS. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a combat medic in the European Theatre, and trained troops at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina during the Korean War.
When Mr. Mardis returned home after serving his country twice, he married the former Betty Gatlin of Dekalb, MS. He was a longtime employee of Lackey's Modern Appliance Company before opening his own business as Mardis TV Service.
Mr. Mardis enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, and staying busy around his home.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Mardis.
He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Betty, of Enterprise, MS; daughters, Brenda Green and husband Mike, of McClelland, IA; Susan Lippincott and husband John, of Sumrall, MS; and son, John Mardis and wife Coral, of Enterprise, MS; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and special friend Darlene Brockmeyer.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Nate Rolison, Jake Mardis, Justin Mardis, Zachary Lippincott, Evan Lippincott, and Brock Mardis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tony Ward

Graveside Services for Tony Ward will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the House Community with Rev. Dennis Shaw officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Ward, 58, of Meridian, died Saturday, November 12, 2011, at his residence.
He is survived by his father, Bernell Ward; step father, Clayton Roberts; brother, Kerry Ward and wife Sherry; sister, Kris Heath and husband Allen; nephew, Joshua Ward and wife Rachel; niece, Kristina McGowin and husband Brandon; great nephew, Brayden McGowin; and a host of aunts, uncles and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Irene Roberts; a sister, Brenda Irene Ward; and a great niece, Belle Irene Ward.

Memorial Services for Carolyn M. Mires will be held Friday November 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Wallace officiating with Robert Barham Family Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mires, 75, of Meridian died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She was born and raised in Lansing, MI. Retired from State of Michigan after 32 years of services. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include: Husband of 56 years Paul R. Mires of Meridian, Children: Timothy Mires, and his wife, Melissa, of Mason MI, Pamela Norman and her husband Frank, of Meridian, Robin L. Whitmire of Meridian; Grandchildren: Christopher, Kalee, Kristi, Joey, Tori, Brooks, Craig and Michael; Great-grandchild Connor. Brothers Phillip Brown, Chuck Courser, Sister Merrie Tinkey.
