Joan P. Kershaw, 81 of West Chester, died Tuesday March 12, 2013 at Brandywine Hall Care Center in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Kershaw. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. Peoples and the late Margaret Davis Peoples. Joan lived in West Chester all her life and was a graduate of West Chester High School. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church of West Chester. Joan worked as a secretary for Chester County Girl Scout Council, Aeroprojects Inc., and Sonobond Ultrasonics of West Chester. She enjoyed reading and had a great love for animals. She is survived by her children, Timothy E. Kershaw (Toni), Meg P. DiBerardinis (Robert) and Joan E. Osborne (Brian) all of West Chester. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, followed by her Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment Green Mount Cemetery Wet Chester.
