Addie Mae White

Services for Addie Mae White were held on April 21, 1993, at East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Albert Creel and Rev. T. E. Williams officiated.
   Mrs. White, age 87, of Quitman, passed away on April 19, 1993, at her residence.
   Survivors include two sons, Royce White and Bennie White, both of Quitman; three brothers, Harmon Rasberry and Fred Rasberry, both of Stonewall; and Amber Dean Rasberry, Sacramento, CA; four sisters, Zoie Cook and Ruby Smith, both of Meridian; Anna Laura Beeman, Collinsville, and Bobye Joyce Green, Springfield, Oregon; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


John Albert Ivey

Services for John Albert Ivey were held on April 20, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiated.
   Mr. Ivey, age 71, of Quitman, passed away on April 18, 1993.
   Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ivey, Quitman; one daughter, Peggy Ann Moore, Nederland, TX; four brothers, Leon Ivey and W.H. Ivey, both of Quitman; Arthur Ivey, Enterprise; and James A. Ivey, Meridian; three sisters, Lillian Scrimpshire, Pachuta; Rose Lee Smith, Quitman; and Estelle Burbank, San Bernardino, CA; and two grandchildren.


Thomas Green Touchstone

Thomas Green Touchstone, age 63, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on April 17, 1993, in Heidelberg.
   Survivors include his wife, Nadine Faria, Grants Pass, Oregon; two sons, Tommy Touchstone, Eureka, CA; and Jimmy Touchstone, Castor Valley, CA; two daughters, Sharon Bales, Stratford, CA; and Judy Kot, Suisun, CA; mother Mrs. Ethel Touchstone, Heidelberg; two brothers Paul Touchstone and Joe Touchstone, both of Heidelberg, one sister, Opal Hedgepath, Jackson; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.


Carrie Robb

Services for Carrie Robb were held on April 19, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Phalti Cemetery. Rev. Howard Bennett officiated.
   Mrs. Robb, age 87, of Cynthiana, Indiana, passed away on April 15, 1993.
   Survivors include three sons, Raymond Robb, Bay Springs; Allen Robb, Gulfport; and Henry Earl Robb, Rose Hill; two daughters, Jean Dean, Cynthiana, Indiana; and Betty Vebelhach, Mt. Vernon, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.


Wymer Claudin Gasaway

Graveside services for Wymer Claudin (Gappy) Gasaway were held on April 18, 1993, at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. W. L. Shirley officiating.
   Mr. Gasaway, age 86, of Shubuta, passed away on April 17, 1993, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
   Survivors include one son, Bobby Gasaway, Brandon; one sister, Grace Giles, Huntsville; and one granddaughter, Leah Sherman, Brandon.


Rosier Abe Jenkins

Services for Rosier Abe Jenkins were held April 14, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Brightwater Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated.
   Mr. Jenkins, age 83, of Rt. 2 Louin, passed away on April 12, 1993, at his residence.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Jenkins, Louin; three sons, Tillman Jenkins and Bricklin Jenkins, both of Quitman; Bobby Pugh, Louin; four daughters, Miss Ruby Nell Jenkins, Waynesboro; Mrs. Annie Williams, Quitman; Mrs. Dorothy King, Louin; and Mrs. Ruth Dolan, Shreveport, MS; eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.


Mattie Vernelle Broadhead

   Mrs. Broadhead, age 79, of Quitman, passed away on April 14, 1993, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
   Survivors include three sons, Ernest Broadhead, Prattville, AL; Ray Broadhead, Murfreesboro, N.C.; and Robert Broadhead, Quitman; two daughters, Carrie Fagan, Ida Bell, Oklahoma; and Java Yancey, Selmer, TN; one brother, Will Bryant Broadhead, Mobile, AL; one sister, Eula Mae Comeaux, Waynesboro; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


Ella Mae Lewis

Services for Ella Mae Lewis were held April 17, 1993, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Wesley Landrum officiated.
   Ms. Lewis, age 76, of Stonewall, passed away on April 15, 1993, at Riley's Hospital.
   Survivors include one brother, Jim Moulds, Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Harrison, Brandon, and Mrs. Lorine LeMeau, Bay Springs.
