Laduski Webb Ward

Graveside services for Mrs. Laduski Ward, age 65, of Florida were held at 11 a.m. at Homewood Methodist Cemetery in Scott County. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest handled the arrangements.
   Mrs. Ward passed away Janary 23 due to an aneurysm at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla.
   Mrs. Ward, a Smith County native, had lived in Florida for the past 31 years. She was a member of Satellite Beach Methodist Church in Satellite Beach, Florida.
   She was a member of the Brevard Music Teachers Association and a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., where she received a master's degree in music.
   She is survived by a daughter, Valerie Spears of Houston, Texas; five sons, Kenneth Spears of New Year, Gregory Spears of Los Angeles, Timothy Spears of Clfton, N.J., David Ward of Satellite Beach, Fla., and James Ward of Austin, Texas; and one sister, Maudine Fettinger of Quitman.


John Charles Lewis Lightsey

Services for Mr. Lewis Lightsey, age 91, of Pachuta were held at 10:00 on January 29, 1990, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Pachuta Cemetery.
   Mr. Lightsey passed away January 27, 1990, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
   He was a member of Pachuta Methodist Church.
   He is survived by his wife, Addie C. Lightsey of Enterprise; three sons, W.A. Lightsey and A.E. Lightsey, both of Pachuta, and B.C. Lightsey of Quitman; one daughter, Grace Davis of Heidelberg; two brothers, R.T. Lightsey of Heidelberg and Lionel Lightsey of Jackson; five sisters, Alva Blackwell, Lois Livingston, Ethel Livingston, Lottie Livingston, and Missouri Knight, all of Heidelberg; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.


George Washington Campbell

Services for Mr. George Campbell, age 86, of Quitman will be held at 2:00 on February 1, 1990, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
   Mr. Campbell passed away January 29, 1990, at Archusa Convalescent center.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Faith Campbell of Quitman; one son, George David Campbell of Quitman; two daughters, Mrs. Susie Simmons of Heightsville, Maryland and Mrs. Ruth Jordan of Quitman; two brothers, LeRoy Burt of Shubuta and Earl Burt of Meridian; one sister, Lois McWilliams of Quitman; and 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.


Hosea Wilson Lindsey

Services for Mr. Hosea Lindsey, age 75, of Shubuta were held January 26, 1990, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Geneva Presbytarian Cemetery.
   Mr. Lindsey passed away January 24, 1990, at his residence.
   He is survived by his wife, Verna M. Lindsey of Shubuta; three daughters, Elizabeth Dikes and Linda Sue Mosley, both of Waynesboro and Helen Darnell Slay of Quitman; one brother, Thomas Lindsey of Silas, Ala.; two sisters Wilma Waterall of Chatman, Ala., and Frances Duvall of Shubuta; and 6 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
