Services for Mitch R. Ainsworth, age 40, of 1736 Gibralter Drive, Jackson, were held on January 12, 1991, at Baldwin-Lee Chapel with a graveside service held at Andrews Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Carmichael.
Mr. Ainsworth passed away on January 9, 1991, at Methodist Medical Center of Cancer.
A native of Smith County, he had lived in Jackson for most of his life. He was with the Jackson Fire Department for 18 years, worked part-time for a year with Grantham Air Conditioning.
Mr. Ainsworth is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fleming Ainsworth, Jackson; daughter, Marianne Ainsworth, Jackson; father, Ray H. Ainsworth, Pearl, and a brother, Steve Ainsworth, Louisiana.

Mr. Mercer passed away on December 23, 1990, at Alve Marle Nursing Home in Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Mercer, Pearl; one step-son, Perry Lee Dillehay, Tupelo; one daughter, Phyllis Ann Whitley, Jackson; one step-daughter, Carolyn J. Moore, Nashville, Tenn.; one brother, Luther Mercer, Quitman; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Wiggins passed away on January 10, 1991, at his residence.
He is survived by three step-sons Johney Beckman, Meridian; Charles "Bud" Beckman, Quitman; Larry Beckman, Shubuta; one step-daughter, Mattie Welch, Quitman; his mother, Corinne H. Wiggins, Shubuta; one sister, Virginia Ruth Matli, Florissant, Md; and fourteen grandchildren.

Mr. Thomas passed away on January 7, 1991, at South Central Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Ida Bell Thomas, Shubuta; three brothers, Max Thomas, Laurel; James Thomas, Vossburg; Jerry Thomas, Brookhaven; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson passed away on January 1, 1991, at Riley Hospital.
She is survived by one son, Walter Hitchcock, Quitman; four daughters, Marylyn Wright, Houston, Texas; Patsy Mosley, Linda Gregory, Rose Rogers, all of Quitman; one brother, Robert Denton, Pascagoula; one sister, Jessie Leistner, Meridian; twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
