Cecil Austin Brock

Services for Cecil Austin Brock, age 86, of Rt. 2 Shubuta, were held on June 4, 1992, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvalle and Rev. Billy Witaker officiated.
   Mr. Brock passed away on June 2, 1992, at Anderson's Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Lee Brock.
   He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and served as a Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher.
   He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mae Hailes, Quitman; Mrs. Silas Bailey, Waynesboro; and Mrs. Belle Williams, Hickory; several nieces and nephews.
   Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Jonathon Donell Carney

Services for Jonathon Donell Carney, age 7, were held on June 7, 1992, at Stonewall Assembly of God Church with burial in the Enterprise Cemetery. Rev. C.A. Farmer officiated.
   Jonathon passed away on June 5, 1992, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   He is survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Donell Carney, Stonewall; two sisters, Jessica Carney and Alicia Carney, both of Stonewall; maternal grandparents, Betty and Orville Smith; Ann and Joe Tanner; paternal grandfather, Donell Carney, Sr.
   Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Marguerite Mosley Linton

Services for Marguerite Mosley Linton, age 68, of Rt. 7 Meridian, were held June 7, 1992, at Bucatunna Baptist Church with burial in the Ford Memorial Gardens. Rev. Buddy Braddock, Rev. Chester Carlisle, and Rev. Alton McCord officiated.
   Mrs. Mosley passed away on June 5, 1992, at Jeff Anderson Hospital.
   She is survived by her husband, Rufus Linton, Rt. 7 Meridian; two sons, Jim Linton, Fort Worth, Texas; Andy Linton, Rt. 6 Meridian; one daughter, Karen Scott, Rt. 7 Meridian; one brother, A.E. "Bud" Mosley, Meridian and four grandchildren.
   Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Deborah Duke Beene

Services for Deborah Duke Beene, age 38, of Owasso, Ok., were held on June 6, 1992, at Mowery Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Ok. Bro. Bill Candle officiated.
   Debbie passed away on June 5, 1992, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
   She is survived by her husband, Ron Beene, a son, Jeffrey Scott Beene, of Owasso; mother, Dorothy Duke; father, Arthur Duke; and a brother, David Duke, all from Rt. 3 Vossburg.


Elsie Ruth Hackler

Services for Elsie Ruth Hackler, age 75, of Rt. 3 Quitman, were held on June 9, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mannassa Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead and Rev. Grant Duncan officiated.
   Ms. Hackler passed away on June 8, 1992, at the University Hospital in Jackson.
   She is survived by four brothers, Cleo Williams, James Williams, Buddy Williams, and Horace Williams, all of Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Ivone Fagan, Quitman; several nieces and nephews.
