Dillon Massingale

Services for Dillon Massingale, age 78, of Meridian, were held on December 8, 1991, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Russell LuQuire officiated.
   Mr. Massingale passed away on December 5, 1991, at Rush Hospital.
   He is survived by one sister, Maude Johnson, Leighton, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.


Margaret Louise Southern

Services for Margaret Louise Southern, age 53, of Quitman, were held on December 5, 1991, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated.
   Mrs. Southern passed away on December 2, 1991, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
   She is survived by two sons, Billy Ray Carney; Jimmy Ray Carney, Quitman; one daughter, Regina Ann Ivy, Gilbertown, Ala.; four brothers, Kenneth Moore, Meridian; Lawrence R. Moore, Columbia; Roy E. Moore, Moselle; Robert K. Moore, Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Doris Boykin, Quitman; Ella Boleware, Columbia; Thelma Boleware, Moselle; four grandchildren and a good friend, William Harper Ivey, Quitman.


James Edward Rolison

Services for James Edward Rolison, age 72, of Enterprise, were held on November 30, 1991, at Union Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Don Johnson officiated.
   Mr. Rolison passed away on November 28, 1991, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Clarke County. He was a retired owner of Rolison Auto Sales and was a veteran of WW II. He was a member and deacon of Union Baptist Church and served as secretary of Sunday School for 30 years.
   He is survived by his wife, Bernice Robinson Rolison of Enterprise; a daughter, Sherry Rolison, Enterprise; two sons, Dannie Rolison, Meridian; Kenneth Rolison, Enterprise; two sisters, M.L. Priester and Elsie McGrew, both of Stonewall; a brother, Paul Rolison of Enterprise and six grandchildren, Dawn Rolison, Enterprise; Sharon Griffin, Biloxi; Michael Griffin, Stonewall; Kim Daniel Dean Rolison; Darren Rolison, all of Meridian.
   Serving as pallbearers were: James Alvin Rolison, Dennis Rolison, Malry Rolison, Wayne Robinson; Bennie Robinson, and Randy Robinson.


Carl Glynn Graham

Services for Carl Glynn Graham, age 76, of Quitman, were held on December 7, 1991, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Russell LuQuire officiated.
   Mr. Graham passed away on December 6, 1991, at McNeil Personal Care Home in Enterprise.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Retha P. Graham, Quitman; one son, Carl Graham, Quitman; two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Carmichael, Mrs. Glenda Hardee, Quitman; three brothers, J.W. Graham, Patterson, Miss.; Curtis L. Graham, Hattiesburg; Gavin Graham, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Parker, Jackson; and five grandchildren.


Olan Arthur Hembree

U.S. Air Force Retired Col. Olan Arthur, 71, a resident of Montgomery, Ala., died on November 28, 1991. Services were held December 1, 1991, with Rev. Jay Wolf and Rev. Harold Hancock officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
   He is survived by his wife, Alma Tidwell Hembree, Montogomery, Ala.; daughter, Shelia Hembree Adams, Prescott, Az.; Olan A. Hembree, Jr., Marietta, Ga.; five grandsons, Olan Hembree, III; Jim Adams; Phillip Hembree; Robert Adams; and Russell Hembree; five sisters, Mae Jewel Scoggin; Mildred Hembree, both of Hattiesburg; Tommye Phipps, Anderson In.; Mabel Williams, Bay Springs; and Nelda Brady, Shubuta; two brothers, Dave Hembree, Terry, Miss.; and Kimble Hembree, Hattiesburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
   The military served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were men from the Morris-Wildes Sunday School Class and the Brocke Men's Class.
   He retired from Auburn University Extension Center as an Administrator. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge #11, a member of the Retired Officers Association. In 1991, he was elected honorary member to Senior Citizens Organization Hall of Fame.
