Lelia Donald Atchley

Services for Lelia Donald Atchley were held on January 13, 1993 at Donald Assembly of God Church in Choctaw County, AL, with burial in the Hurricane Cemetery in Choctaw County, AL. Rev. T.H. Spence, Rev. Mark Thead and Rev. H.S. Duncan officiated.
   Mrs. Atchley, age 91, of Rt. 2 Gilbertown, AL, passed away on January 11, 1993, at Loving Care Nursing Home in Quitman.
   Survivors include a son, Frank Atchley, Gilbertown, AL; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Turner, Gilbertown, AL; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Atchley.


Jimmy Lamar Robinson

Services for Jimmy Lamar Robinson were held on January 15, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Antioch Cemetery in Clarke County. Capt. Randy Steadham and Rev. Claire officiated.
   Mr. Robinson, age 44, of Rt. 1 Meridian, passed away on January 12, 1993, in Meridian.
   Survivors include: a son, Jamie Lamar Robinson, Meridian; two daughters, Tammy Davis, Lubbock, TX; Amy Robinson, Chillicothe, Ohio; one brother, Leon Robinson, Meridian; two sisters, Hazel Beech, Meridian; Ann Barrett, Suqualena; two grandchildren; and one niece, Vicki Lynn Robinson, Suqualena, MS.


Beryl Marie Herrington

Services for Beryl Marie Herrington were held January 15, 1993, at Hebron Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Claude Killian and Rev. Ed Holloman officiated.
   Mrs. Herrington, age 72, of Stonewall, passed away on January 13, 1993, at Anderson's Hospital.
   Survivors include a husband, Darrell Herrington, Stonewall; one son, Mike Smith, New Orleans, LA; five daughters, Mrs. Helen Turner, Butler, AL; Mrs. Faye Vernell, Muscle Shoals, AL; Mrs. Mary Ann Clark, Needham, AL; Mrs. Linda James, and Mrs. Peggy McInnis, both of Quitman; one brother, Jack McKenney, Garden Grove, CA; one sister, Mrs. Ann McKenzie, Quitman; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and a very dedicated and devoted neighbor, Kathy Garrett.


Earl B. Napp

Services for Earl B. Napp were held January 18, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Ed Holloman officiated.
   Mr. Napp, age 83, of 132 Mullett St., Quitman, passed away on January 17, 1993, at Jeff Anderson Hospital.
   Survivors include a wife, Gladys Napp, Quitman; a son, Dwight Napp, Quitman; daughter, Laverne Duke, Quitman; two brothers, Preston Napp, Mobile, AL; Noel Napp, Quitman; five sisters, Macy Day and Vennie Day, both of Quitman; Neva Frey and Angie Broadhead, both of Mobile, AL; Vester Horne, Meridian; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.


Elsie Marie Creighton

Services for Elsie Marie Wilson Creighton were held on January 18, 1993, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Billy Brumfield and Rev. Clay Chancellor officiated.
   Mrs. Creighton, age 52, of Rt. 1 Quitman, passed away on January 16, 1993, at Jeff Anderson Hospital.   She was born in Wayne County.
   Survivors include a husband, Bennie Creighton, Rt. 1 Quitman; mother Helen Zitterow, Quitman; three sons, Bennie Creighton, Randall Creighton and David Creighton, all of Rt. 1 Quitman; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Davis, Stonewall; Mrs. Vickie Martin, Rt. 1 Quitman; two brothers, Billy Wilson and Carlie Wilson, both of Rt. 1 Quitman; sister, Mrs. Wanda Helmy, Stonewall and seven grandchildren.


Robert Ladell Stewart

Services for Robert Ladell Stewart were held on January 16, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Edna Baker and Rev. George Jimmerson officiated.
   Mr. Stewart, age 63, of Stonewall, passed away on January 13, 1993, at Rush Hospital in Meridian.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Birdie M. Stewart, Stonewall; one son, Mr. William A. Stewart, Stonewall; three daughters, Mrs. Fran Floyd and Mrs. Martha Palmer, both of Enterprise; Miss Ila Stewart, Stonewall; two brothers, Mr. Lavelle Stewart, Meridian; Mr. Danny Ray Stewart, Seattle, WA; and five grandchildren.


Daniel Jared Gunn

Services for Daniel Jared Gunn were held January 19, 1993, at Fellowship Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Buddy Petty, Rev. Bill Hutto and Rev. H.O. Carmichael officiated.
   Jared, age 7, of Enterprise, passed away on January 17, 1993, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
   Survivors include his parents, Sammy and Angela Gunn, Enterprise; one brother, Justin Gunn, Enterprise; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Whatley, Union; Brenda Whatley, Forest; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Gunn, Sr., Quitman; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wall, Newton; great-maternal-grandparents, Tommye D. Waggoner, Forest; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bo Whatley, Newton; great-paternal-grandparent, Mrs. Rosie Gunn, Stonewall.
   Jared was a student at Enterprise Elementary School; a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Enterprise Rookie Baseball League.
   Pallbearers include Phillip Goodin, Jerry Williams, Dr. Scott Massingill, Ruby Badeaux. Honorary pallbearers were the Enterprise Rookie League Baseball Team.
   His parents donated their son's vital organs so that others may live.
