Survivors include his wife, Teresa Graydon, Quitman; one son, Robert Graydon, Jr., Quitman; one stepson, Clarence Peterson, Quitman; one daughter, Geraldine Graydon, Quitman; four brothers, Rickey Graydon, James Robert Taylor, both of Quitman; Johnny Graydon, Tallahassee, FL; Lamar Graydon of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Jo Ann Phillips, Mobile, AL; and Betty Shaw, Quitman.

Survivors include a son, Robert Louis Eifling, Paris, France; three daughters, Jean Kinney, Torrance, CA; Mary Ford, Quitman; Aarronette Housley, Longview, TX; one sister, Hattie Joe Stillwell, Humphrey, AK; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services for Sennie M. Murphy will be held on January 30, 1993, at Mt. Nebo AME Church in Theadville and burial at Shady Grove Cemetery.. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 - 2:00. Rev. Stringfellow officiating.
Mrs. Murphy, age 75, of Shubuta, passed away on January 23, 1993, at the University Hospital in Jackson. She was born on June 23, 1917, in Quitman.
Survivors include one daughter, Janie Young, Chicago, Ill; two sons, James Murphy, Shubuta; and Freddie Murphy, Meridian; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of neices and nephews.
