Graveside services for Ora Bell Smith were held on October 14, 1992, at Jesurun Assembly of God Cemetery with Rev. Claiborne Dearman officiating.
Mrs. Smith, age 94, of Quitman, passed away on October 13, 1992, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Wayne Smith and Walter Gene Smith, both of Quitman; three daughters, Eloise Bruce, Cleveland, MS; Virginia Arnett, Holt, FL; Mary Hogan, Yosemite National Park, CA; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Mildred Earle Arrington were held on October 20, 1992, at DeSoto Baptist Church with burial in the DeSoto Cemetery. Rev. Randal Walker and Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiated.
Mrs. Arrington, age 73, of Shubuta, passed away on October 18, 1992, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Arrington, Shubuta; two sons, Ted Arrington, Jr., Slidell, LA, and Jeff Arrington, Woodbridge, VA; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Younger, DeSoto; Mrs. Kay Riley, Quitman; Mrs. Ruth Fortenberry, Richmond, VA; and Mrs. Merle Henson, Huntsville, AL; two brothers, Dearman Harris, Naples, FL; and James Vernon Harris, Marietta, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Culpepper, Meridian and Mrs. Katie Ruth Rawson, Montgomery, AL; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
