Services for William A. Spann, age 83, were held on December 19, 1991, in Saraland, Alabama, with burial in the Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Spann passed away on December 16, 1991, at his home as the result of a heart attack.
He worked thirty-five years for International Paper Company and was a past mason and a former resident of Clarke County.
He is survived by two daughters, Dixie M. Wade, Montrose Road, Quitman; Sarah Booth, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Willie A. Spann, Helena, Ga.; Bruce Spann and Jonathan D. Spann, Mobile, Alabama; two sisters, Rebecca Smith, Montogmery, Alabama; and Ruth Quit, Black, Fla.; one brother, Obie Spann, Dothan, Alabama; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Radney's Funeral home in Sarah, Alabama, were in charge of arrangements.

Services for Robert Odell Smith, age 57, of Route 4, Quitman, were held on December 23, 1991, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Avera Cemetery. Rev. Jim Meadows and Rev. Keyon Smith officiated.
Mr. Smith passed away on December 21, 1991 at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Lee Smith, Quitman; one son, Robert C. Smith, Quitman; three daughters, Linda N. Albritton, Patricia Smith and Barbara Sue Lewis, Quitman; mother, Susie Satcher Smith, Quitman; one brother, Lavell Smith, Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Nelda Prince, Quitman; six grandchildren.

Ms. Cooper passed away on December 20, 1991, at a local hospital.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two sons, Clovis O. Powell, Jr., Dennis R. Powell, Meridian; one daughter, Louise Davidson, Meridian; one brother, Johnny Robinson, Meridian; two sisters, Elma Shannon, Meridian; Lois Powell, Spencer, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
