Berry Winfield Robinson

Services for Berry W. Robinson, age 90, of Rt. 1 Quitman, were held on April 4, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery. Rev. Delbert Freeman and Rev. Doc Williamson officiated.
   Mr. Robinson passed away on April 2, 1992, at Jeff Anderson Hospital. He was a Mason, Terral Lodge #514 F & AM.
   He is survived by one son, Freddie Robinson, Milton, Florida; three daughters, Eloise Brown and Charlotte Nix both of Quitman; Elaine Majure, Biloxi; one brother, Grady Robinson, Fresno, Ca.; six sisters, Ava Ruth Crane, Stonewall; Myrtie McMichael, Minnie Hovis, both of Melborne, Fl.; Naomi Freeman, Tyler, Texas; Sadie Fikes, Enterprise; Audrey Ethridge, Philadelphia; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.


Glennie Mosley

Services for Glennie Mosley, age 84, of Eight Mile, Alabama, were held on April 23, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Goodwater Cemetery. Rev. C.C. Burns and Rev. L.L. Comer officiated.
   Mrs. Mosley passed away on April 20, 1992, at Autumn Breeze Health Care in Eight Mile, Alabama.
   She is survived by four sons, Raymond Mosley, Willie C. Mosley, Eight Mile; Lester R. Mosley, Jr., Shubuta; Jimmy C. Mosley, Vossburg; two daughters, Mary Wilson, Eight Mile; Grace Rowell, Vossburg; six brothers, Tom Abston, Roy Abston, Rudder Abston, Gilbertown, Alabama; Kaiser Abston, Meridian; Coley Abston, Silas; and Billy Abston, Riderwood, Ala.; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.


John Darling Dear

Funeral services for John Darling Dear, age 77, were held April 13, 1992, at Webb's Chapel of Newton with burial in the Fellowship Cemetery in Hickory. Rev. Jerry Wayne Lowery and Rev. Norman Arthur officiated.
   Mr. Dear passed away on April 11, 1992, at his residence. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Hickory and served in the U.S. Army in WW II.
   He is survived by his wife, Ruth Boney Dear, Hickory; a stepson, Travis Boney, Quitman; two sisters, Hazel Fairchild, Laurel; Martha Smith, Louin; a brother, Bill Dear, Hickory; two step-grandsons.
   Pallbearers were Johnny Smith, Bobby Wilkerson, Wayne Jones, Ras Jones, George B. Williams, Dan Williams.


James Welborn

Services for James Welborn were held from Liberty Congregational Methodist Church on April 21, 1992, at 2 p.m. with internment in Palestine Cemetery in Jasper County. Rev. Atkinson and Rev. Purvis officiated with Colonial Funeral home of Laurel in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Welborn, age 54, of Montrose, passed away on April 18, 1992, at Anderson's Hospital. He was a former resident of Clarke County.
   He is survived by his wife, Fannie Merle Welborn of Montrose; four daughters, Debby Welborn, Sandra Duckworth, Trudy Hillman, Montrose, Ms.; Mylisia of Pearl; two sons, Ricky Welborn, Baton Rouge; Donald Welborn, Pearl; fifteen grandchildren; his mother, Lottie Welborn, Quitman; three sisters, Nancy Volking, Beth Davis, Arebell Zdenek, Quitman; three brothers, Jonny Hewley, Benny Welborn, Quitman; a foster brother, Zelma Smith, Hattiesburg. Nephews served as pallbearers.
   He was preceded in death by parent, John Shayce Welborn; a brother, Tommy; a sister, Joyce Carney, foster brother, Norman Smith.


John T. Braswell

Services for John T. Braswell, age 80, of Missouri City, Texas, were held on April 20, 1992, at the First Baptist Church of Missouri City, with Bro. Dave Adkins and Bro. Aubry Knox officiating. Burial was in the Huenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery and Garmany Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Braswell passed away on April 17, 1992, at Sharps Town Hospital in Texas.
   He is survived by his wife, Grace (Donald) Braswell; one daughter, Barbara Richard, both of Missouri City; one son, Thomas Braswell of Colorado Springs, Co.; one sister, Kate Smith, Mobile, Ala.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   Memorials may be made to the Center Ridge Baptist Church in the care of Robert Day, Shubuta.
