Services for Viola Virginia Covington, age 82, of Shubuta, were held on April 30, 1992, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Billy Whitaker and Dr. Shaw Gaddy officiated.
Mrs. Covington passed away on April 28, 1992, at Anderson's Hospital.
She is survived by three sons, Roland F. Covington, Manning, South Carolina; Cecil Covington, Shubuta; Jimmy Covington, Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Juanita Daniels, Dorothy Chapman, both of Waynesboro; Edna Mae Chapman, Pascagoula; one sister, Mrs. Geneva Hailes, Quitman; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Moore passed away on April 27, 1992, at Rush Hospital in Meridian.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Moore, Quitman; one son, Owen Moore, Enterprise; two daughters, Charlene Boykin, Sevierville, Tenn.; Fane Fisher, Kodak, Tenn.; two brothers, John Roy Moore, Jackie Moore, Quitman; three sisters, Miriam Riley, Homa Watkins and Edris Ivy, all of Quitman; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services for Eunice Lenora Harris Davis, age 72, of Stonewall were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 1992, in Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Braddock and Dr. Albert McMullan officiating.
Mrs. Davis passed away Thursday, April 16, 1992, at Anderson's Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Davis, Jr., of Stonewall; two sons, Dicky Redmond and Robert Lang, both of Stonewall; three daughters, Delorise Oglesby, Glinda Taylor and Susie Davis, all of Stonewall; one sister, Francis Young of Stonewall; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Services for Ola LeVenia McCarra, age 90, of Route 3, Quitman, were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 1992, in Wright's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Irby officiated with burial at East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. McCarra passed away Wednesday, April 29, 1992, at McNeil Nursing Center in Enterprise.
She is survived by six sons, Ralph McCarra, Bernice McCarra, Prentiss McCarra, Rodney McCarra, Cletis McCarra and Floyd McCarra, all of Quitman; five daughters, Agnes Broadhead, Nina Martin and Lucille Dearman, all of Quitman, Jewell Boaz of Russellville, Ark., and Faye Welborn of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Cola Ivey and Ruth Tucker, both of Quitman; thirty-seven grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
William E. (Buck) Brewer

Master Sgt. William E. Brewer, U.S. Air Force retired, age 74, 111 Moriarity St., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Tuesday, April 28, 1992, after an extended illness.
He was native of Quitman, and moved to Florida in 1959 from Morocco, North Africa. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1971 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla, with over 30 years' total service, having served during World War II, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam ear, where he received numerous medals and awards. Mr. Brewer was a member of Port Tampa Lodge 153 F&AM, Tampa, Fl.; Order of Eastern Star Chapter 178, Tampa; and Fort Walton Beach Hospital Auxiliary. He retired from the Okaloosa County School Board in 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy N. Brewer; daughters and son-in-law, Pat Harris, and Anne and Boyd Whalen, all of Fort Walton Beach; sister, Marie Brown of Meridian; grandchildren, Bob Massingill, Terri DeCann, both of Sandestin, Fla., Shelly Rogers and Carolyn Whalen, both of Fort Walton Beach; and seven great-grandchildren.
Masonic services were conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Little Chapel Funeral Home with members of Alpha Lodge 172 F&AM officiating.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, in Little Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred M. Evers officiating. Interment, with military honors followed in Beal Memorial Cemetery.
Little Chapel Funeral Home, 910 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, were in charge of arrangements.
