Services for Lillian Viola Williams, age 75, of Delhi, La., were held on Mary 17, 1992, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Alfred Gavin and Rev. J.C. Williams officiated.
Mrs. Williams passed away on May 15, 1992, at Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi, La., after a long illness.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Earl Williams, Johnny Williams, both of Delhi; Gilbert Williams, Sebring, Florida; one daughter, Vinnie Russell, Delhi; four brothers, Freeman Gilbert, Gillon Gilbert, C.E. Gilbert, all of Delhi; Leland Gilbert, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Vera Riley, Stonewall; Mary Lee Register, Laurel; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were: Ladell Williams, Wayne Williams, Randy Williams, Lynn Smith, R.L. Smith, Ray Smith, Jimmy Smith, and Jerry Register.
Harmon Halcomb Lafferty

Services for Harmon Halcomb Lafftery, age 78, of Rt. 3 Vossburg, were held on May 17, 1992, at Knight's Valley Baptist Church with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in West Clarke County.
Mr. Lafferty passed away on May 15, 1992, at his residence.
He is survived by one son, Marlon Lafferty, Shubuta; three daughters, Charlotte Howard, Pearl, La.; Sue Cornish, Monette, Ark.; Joyce Davis, Vossburg; one brother, Harry Lafferty, Columbus; one sister, Flossie Clark, Walker, La.; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula B. Lafferty and two grandsons, Lamar Lafferty and Ellis Thomas.
