Services for Howard Ancil Chancelor, age 58, of Rt. 1 Quitman, were held on February 29, 1992, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Rolling Creek Cemetery. Rev. Billy Brumfield, Rev. Wilton Bennett and Clay Chancelor officiated.
Mr. Chancelor passed away on February 27, 1992, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clovis Chancelor, Quitman; three sons, Joey Ancil Chancelor, Howard Clay Chancelor, and Tony Martin Chancelor, all of Quitman; two daughters, Patty Chancelor McLendon, Decatur, Alabama; Paula Chancelor Gautney, Quitman; three brothers, Wesley Chancelor, Van Chancelor and Lamar Chancelor, all of Quitman; three sisters, Earselle Boone, Lois Hales, both of Quitman; Marguriette Driskell, Meridian; aunt, Florence Pace, Meridian; ten grandchildren.

Services for Cora Norris Gilbert, age 96, of Quitman, were held on February 28, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Grady Crowell officiated.
Mrs. Gilbert passed away on February 26, 1992, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
She is survived by one son, John D. Norris, Meridian; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Murphy, Tallahassee, Florida; Mrs. Faye Brownlee, Quitman; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
