 Edd Taylor of Route 3, Quitman, died at the family residence Dec. 29 following an acute heart attack.
   He was 54 years of age and is survived by his wife, Mrs.Ludie Taylor; sons, Hal Taylor and Edd Taylor, Jr., of Quitman; daughter, Miss Minnie Lou Taylor of Quitman; brother, Anthony Taylor of Quitman; and sister, Mrs. Addie Ivy of Stonewall.
   Funeral services were held at Northrup Chapel Dec. 31 at 10:00 a.m., with the Revs. Ocie Long, Oland Bearden, W. L. Meadows and W. A. Dunnam offciating. Interment was in the Covington cemetery.
   Pallbearers were Bud Ivy, Earl Mosley, Jimmie Stewart, F. R. Belcher, Joe Nichols and Edd Cook.
   McClellan-Walters Funeral Home in charge.
