 Services for J. P. Richardson, Sr., were held October 23, 2003, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pachuta Cemetery. Rev. Rickey Carlisle and Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated.
   Mr. Richardson, 85, of Pachuta, died October 20, 2003, at Lakeside Living Center.
   He was born September 30, 1918, to Arthur and Pearl Richardson in Stonewall. He was retired from Burlington Industries.
   Survivors include his wife, Sarah Richardson, Pachuta; two sons, J.P. Richardson, Jr., and wife, Edith, Pachuta; Ronald Richardson, Pachuta; brother, X.L. Richardson, Stonewall; sister, Dorothy Touchstone, Contonment, Florida; three grandchildren, Teresa Webb, Princeton, N.C.; Pam Phillips, Pine Level, N.C.; and Terry Davis, Fayetteville, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Terrie Thornton, Princeton, Julie Dorman, Trey Dorman, John Tyler Phillips, all of Pine Level, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
