John Quimby, 97, of Rt. 1, Repton, died on August 8th at his home. Funeral services were held on August 10 from the Springhill Church, with Rev. Keith Grantham officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Cope Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Quimby is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Quimby of Repton; one son, Edgar Quimby of Repton; five daughters, Mrs. Edgar Zellers of Excel, Mrs. Bessie Lampley of Repton, Mrs. Edna Bradley of Lenox, Mrs. Velma Overton of Mobile and Mrs. Alice Wilson of Repton; and one brother, Luther Quimby of Stonewall, Mississippi.
