John Wesley Reeder died May 4, 2004, at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California.
   Mr. Reeder, 67, was born and raised in the Elwood Community of Clarke County. He was the son of John and Bessie Reeder.
   Survivors include a son, David Wayne Reeder; two daughters, Tammie Lutch and Penny Reeder of Gulfport; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elouise Mayo James, Medford, Oregon and Mildred Ivy, Quitman; a host of nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Reeder and a brother, James Ray Reeder.
   A memorial service will be held at a later date with Bro. Jim Manning of Center Ridge Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest by his mother in the Old Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.
