 William Alex Taylor of Stonewall died at Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman August 11 from an acute heart attack.
   Mr. Taylor who was 67 years old was a retired Textile Worker at Erwin Mills of Stonewall.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, August 14, at 4 o'clock at Stonewall church with the Revs. W. H. Ross and Beulah Ivy officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
   Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Taylor; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Robinson, Quitman; one son, Lenzy L. Taylor, Stonewall; one sister, Mrs. Susie Quimby, Repton, Ala.; one brother, Harvey Taylor, Stonewall; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
   Pallbearers were Gid Ivy, Tom Carlisle, Glyn Robinson, Cliff West, Ray Daughterty and R. B. Long.
   Walters Funeral Home was in charge.
