Shirley Mae Davidson was born on 6 September 1927 in Mississippi. She died on 24 December 2004 in Vicksburg, Warren, Mississippi. She is buried in Terry Cemetery in Terry, Hinds, Mississippi.

 Shirley Cox died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004. She was 77.
   Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by a grandson, Milton Chambeless Jr., and a brother, Cliford Davidson.
   She is survived by four daughters, Ruth Wilmoth of Crystal Springs, Ann May of Vicksburg, Kay Snelson of Pearl and Jean Walters May of Brookhaven; one sister, Rheta Mae McIntosh of Slidell, La.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Burial will follow at Terry Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
