William Edward Cook (1911-1970)

   William Edward Cook passed away Wednesday from a heart attack at the age of 59.
   Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Northrup Chapel Baptist Church with Revs. Ed Holloman and Jack C. Williams officiating with interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Evie Lee Smith Cook; two daughters, Mrs. Gavin Bishop, Burns, Miss., Mrs. Charles Lewis, Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. A. F. Simpson, DeSota; one brother, V. J. Cook, Waynesboro; three grandchildren.
