Services for Bertha (Dee) Annell Newburn were held on Tuesday, October 26, at Living Word Church, burial took place at Brethren Cemetery in Cintronelle, AL, under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Newburn, age 75, of Citronelle, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 1993, at Mobile Infirmary.
Survivors include one daughter, June Hattenstein, of Citronelle, AL; five brothers, Harvey Underwood, Bobby Underwood, Billy Underwood, John Underwood all of Quitman, and George Underwood, of Stonewall; two sisters, Margie Carney, of Meridian, Tut Robinson, of Bay Springs; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Mary Osler Smith were held on Sunday, October 31, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, burial followed in Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Braddock officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Smith, age 85, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 1993, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
Survivors include two sons, Delmar Smith, Jr., of Enterprise; Billy Wayne Smith, of DeSoto; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
