Roy Earl Wayman

Services for Roy Earl Wayman were held Monday October 4, 1993, at Pine Hill Baptist Church, the burial was took place in the church cemetery with Rev. Pete Pearson and Rev. Taylor Wallace officiating.
   Mr. Wayman, age 65, of Enterprise, passed away on October 2, 1993, at his residence.
   Survivors include his wife, Codelia M. Wayman of Enterprise; two sons, Rory E. Wayman and Russell Wayman both of Enterprise; four daughters, Karen Hester, of Enterprise; Susie Corley, of Cortland; April Daugherty, of Stonewall; Darlene Wayman, of Vancleave; his father, Finis Earl Wayman, of Ashland City, TN; two brothers, Deanie Wayman and Johnnie Wayman, both of Ashand City, TN; six sisters, Donna Rayburn, Beverly Williams, Morene Harris, Lorene Loualler, Ruth Nichols, all of Ashland City, TN; Carmen Rader of Nashville, TN; nine grandchildren.


John Wesley Herring III

Graveside services for John Wesley Herring III were held Saturday October 2, 1993, at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Billy Whitaker officiating.
   John Wesley Herring III, age 2, of Shubuta, passed away Friday, October 1, 1993, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include his parents, Wesley and Debra Herring, of Shubuta; two sisters, Amanda and Alison Herring, both of Shubuta; and his grandmothers, Alice Herring of Shubuta; and Veleria Butler of Sandersville.


Bessie Vivian Holloman Smith

Services for Bessie Vivian Holloman Smith were held at Wright's Funeral Home, Saturday, October 2, 1993, burial at Elim Cemetery with Rev. Ed Holloman and Rev. Pete Shirley.
   Mrs. Smith passed away Thursday, September 30, 1993, at Queen City Nursing Home, in Meridian.
   Survivors include two sons, Cletis Pete Smith, of Stonewall; Ralph Smith, of Meridian; two daughters, Doris Story and Pauline O'Brien both of New Orleans; four brothers, John H. Holloman, Jim Holloman, Ben Holloman and John Holloman all of Quitman; six sisters, Ida Bell Glass and Sadie Anderson and Avie Downey, all of Quitman; Lucy May and Annie Shaw, both of Meridian; Eula Mae Conner, of Pensacola, FL, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.


Violet B. Kostick

Services were held for Ms. Violet B. Kostick on Friday, October 1, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Mosley and Rev. Bob Powell officiating.
   Mrs. Kostick, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 1993, at Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include her husband, Paul Kostick, of Quitman; three daughters, Lisa Duke, Sandra Wimberly, and Sharon Robinson all of Quitman; two brothers, Jack Boykin and R.V. Boykin both of DeSoto; two sisters, Catherine Robinson and Rosie Thornhill both of Quitman, two grandchildren, Michelle Duke and Chris Robinson.
   Pallbearers included Randy Boykin, Mike Boykin, Mickey Long, Michael Smith, Archie Duke and Billy Joe Baker.


Leona Smith Johnson

Services were held for Mrs. Johnson on Saturday, October 2, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Pachuta Cemetery. The Rev. Julius Harbison officiating.
   Mrs. Johnson, age 90, passed away Thursday, September 30, 1993, at Riley Hospital in Meridian.
   Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
