Robert Bailey Price, Jr.

Services for Robert Bailey Price, Jr., were held April 2, 1995, at McGowan's Chapel Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Joe Lofton officiated. Special music was provided by Holly Moore from Plymouth, California.
   Mr. Price, 82, of Quitman, died March 30, 1995 at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Jessie V. Price, Quitman; a son, Robert B. Price, III, El Dorodo Hills, CA; a daughter, Beryl Price Williams, Jackson; two brothers, John Price, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; James Douglas Price, Quitman; four sisters, Kathleen Kean, Meridian; Lillian Ward, Meridian; Mildred Smith, Quitman; and Ruth Conway, Linden, Ala.; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 28 nieces and nephews.


Daisy M. McAdams

Services for Daisy M. McAdams were at Center Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Michael Boutwell and Rev. Jim Manning officiated.
   Mrs. McAdams, 72, of Quitman, died March 31, 1995, in Waynesboro.
   Survivors include a son, Douglas McAdams, Dallas, TX; three daughters, Delores Pope, Dallas, TX; Brenda Donald, Waynesboro; and Sybil Wood, Quitman; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.


Crystabel Richardson Segal

Graveside services for Crystabel Richardson Segal were held April 8, 1995, at Floral Hill Cemetery.
   Mrs. Segal, 89, of Biloxi, died April 6, 1995, in Biloxi.
   A native of Clarke County, she was retired from Hancock Bank as a bank teller. She was a member of the Bay Vista Baptist Church.
   Survivors include a son, Raymond Richardson, Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her first husband, P. V. Richardson and her second husband, Jack Segal; a son, Donald M. Richardson, and two brothers, Edgar Harris and Sam Harris.


Lula Mae Smith

Services for Lula Mae Smith were held April 8, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Orange Cemetery in Jasper County.
   Mrs. Smith, 79, of Mobile, died April 6, 1995, at Mercy Hospice in Mobile.
   Survivors include a daughter, Grace Susits, Mobile; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.


Mary Eleanor Adair

Graveside services for Mary Eleanor Adair were held at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Newton County. Dr. Frank Harmon and Dr. John Stevens officiated.
   Mrs. Adair, 81, of Quitman, died April 7, 1995, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   A former resident of Newton, Mrs. Adair was born in Newton County and was a retired nurse from Lackey Nursing Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton.
   Survivors include a daughter, Hilda Adair Blackledge, Quitman; a son, Dr. Marcus Adair, Southaven, MS; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Adair.
   Serving as pallbearers were David Norman, Larry Chaney, William Read, Richard Reynolds, Bobby Parker and Mickey Vance.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital Refurbishing Fund.


Clyde Myrna Smith Carmichael

Services for Mrs. Clyde Myrna Smith Carmichael will be held April 12, 1995, at Colonial F. H. Columbia, MS. Burial will be in the Old Columbia Cemetery in Columbia, MS. Rev. Robert Guffey will officiate.
   Mrs. Carmichael, 89, of Meridian, died April 9, 1995, at Riley's Hospital.
   She was born April 12, 1906 in Lyman, MS; and spent many years in Columbia and the last 23 years in Meridian. The Smith family settled in Mississippi in 1797 in the Pearl River County area.
   Survivors include a son, Gilbert E. Carmichael, Meridian; two daughters, Suzanne Carmichael Horton, Quitman; Myrna Carmichael Horton, Gulf Shores, Alabama; a sister, Leza Smith, Palacio, TX; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Andrew M. Smith, Jackson; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces; Winfred Rawls, Tylertown; Betty Bourne, Columbia; Sybil Dodson, Brevard, NC; Margaret Smith, Palacios, TX; Martha Smith Westling, Jackson; and Glen Smith, Tylertown.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Ellzey Carmichael.
   Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Meridian Memorial Fund.
   Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
