Services for Sidney C. Donald, Jr., were held November 29, 1994, at chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland.
Mr. Donald, a native of Melvin and Gilbertown, died November 27, 1994, at his residence.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He was retired from the Sheet Metal Local #441. He was a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church in Hurricane, AL.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Hendry of Chunchula and Barbara Knapp, Saraland; two sons-in-law, Don Hendry and Ron Knapp; four grandchildren, Chuck Hendry, Gulfcrest, AL; Dawn Hendry Summers, Kushla; Brian Hendry, U.S. Navy serving in Japan; and Jennifer Knapp, Saraland; one sister, Sybil Snowden, Enterprise; and two brothers, Sam Donald, Sacramento and Smith Donald, Mobile.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Donald and a grandson, Joey Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers were Heyward Jenkins, Rev. Charles King, Ray Tate, Jimmy R. Roberson, and Lawrence T. Orso. Active pallbearers were Gene Day, John Greene, Milton Davis, Brazell Baxter, Lewis Worsham and David Morrison.
Burial was in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland, AL.
