William Louis Hahn (1909-1973)

William Louis Hahn was born on 1 April 1909 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died on 19 June 1973 in Pennsylvania. He married Ella May Brown on 13 June 1931 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware.

William L. Hahn, 64, of 2739 Oregon St., Palmer Township, died Tuesday night in Easton Hospital.
   Hahn had been an associate engineer for the Bell Telephone Co. in Allentown before retiring last October. He had been employed by the utility for 45 years, and had worked in its Easton office until 1954.
   His widow is the former Ella May Brown.
   Born in Philadelphia, a son of the late Louis and Rachel (Spencer) Hahn, he had lived in Easton for 43 years. He graduated from Darby High School in 1927.
   Hahn was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
   Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Martin Gutzweiler of Tatamy; three brothers, Louis of Newtown Square, Robert of Shore Acres, N.J., and Albert of Drexel Hill, and a granddaughter.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Katinis Funeral Chapel, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Calling hours will be Friday night.
