Paul Lewis Cleveland, 42, Jacksonville, Fl., died Monday, Dec. 26, 1994, at Naval Hospital, Jacksonville, Fl.
     A graveside service was held Thursday, Dec. 29, at Cedar Tree Cemetery, with Hulen Bishop officiating. Nichols Funeral Home, Haleyville, handled arrangements.
     Survivors include a son, Shawn Cleveland, Jacksonville, Fl.; a daughter, Christy Holland, Jacksonville, Fl.; mother, Alberta Cleveland, Hackleburg; a brother, Curtis Cleveland, Birmingham; four sisters, Margaret Howell, Birmingham, Betty Hicks, Phil Campbell, Shirley Pharr, JoAnn Kennedy, both of Hackleburg; a grandchild.

Billy Duke, 67, Hillsboro, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 1994, at his residence.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Nichols Funeral Home, Addison, with Glenn Wood officiating. Burial was in Emmondfield Cemetery.
     Survivors include two daughters, Vera Williams, Hillsboro, Marie Davis, Trinity; two brothers, Robert Duke, Addison, Mack Duke, Arley; two sisters, Alta Moore, Faye Palmer, both of Addison; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Mary Henderson

Mary Henderson, 71, Haleyville, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1994, at Burdick West Hospital, Haleyville.
     Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 29, at Nichols Funeral Home, Haleyville, with Richard Trader and T.B. Stringfellow officiating. Internment will be in Winston Memorial Mausoleum.
     Survivors include her husband, Richard Henderson; a daughter, Pam Masdon, Haleyville; two sisters, Lee Smith, Graysville, Ruth Craig, Dothan; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; four nieces; four grand nieces; a grand nephew.

Denise Ijames

Denise E. Brandt Ijames, 34, Logansport, In., formerly of Haleyville, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, In.
     She was a homemaker and a 1979 graduate of Pioneer High School.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 31, at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, In., with Rev. Kenneth E. Smith officiating. Burial was in Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center, In.
     Survivors include her husband, Terry Ijames; a son, Justin C. Ijames, Logansport, In.; parents, Bob L. and Marlene Brandt, Logansport, In.; three brothers, Scott Brandt, West Lafayette, In.; Randy Brandt, Royal Center, In., Danny Brandt, Logansport, In.; paternal grandmother, Elsie Brandt, Buckeye, Iowa.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Wallace Martin

Wallace Martin, 81, 5101 Northwood Lake Drive West, Northport, formerly of Double Springs, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 1994, at his residence.
     He and his wife built Glenn Haven Nursing Home in 1964 and operated the nursing home until they retired in 1978. He was a member of Northport Baptist Church.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 24, at Sunset Funeral Home, Northport, with burial in Sunset Cemetery, Northport.
     He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Martin Reed.
     Survivors include his wife, Mattie Sue Martin; two daughters, Janelle Martin Gray, Northport, Joanne Martin, Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Lillian Minton, Birmingham, Millie Smith, Double Springs; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
     Pallbearers were Bobby Moody, Larry Moody, Jack Moore, Leonard Ingram, Russell Foster and Llwyn Smith.

Russell Wayne Perkins, 37, Bear Creek, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 1994, at his residence.
     Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 26, at Nichols Funeral Home, Haleyville, with Charles Medlock officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
     Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Perkins, Quitman, Ms., Kelli Perkins, Jessi Perkins, both of Bear Creek; mother, Janette Jacobs, Haleyville; step-father, Darnell Jacobs, Haleyville; father, George S. Perkins, Tennessee; three brothers, Terry Perkins, Greg Jacobs, both of Haleyville, Johnny Perkins, Bear Creek.
     Pallbearers were Benny Bohannon, Chris Bohannon, Donnie Hill, Wayne Hulsey, Shane Hulsey and Wayman Cagle.

Tommy Foster Shackelford, 31, Double Springs, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at his residence.
     A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 30, at Curtis Cemetery. Nichols Funeral Home, Haleyville, handled arrangements.
     Survivors include his mother, Ila Dean Shackelford, Double Springs; five sisters, Willuse Pruitt, Janie Young, both of Double Springs, Carolyn Knight, Ann Cook, both of Haleyville, Sue Orellano, Arizona.

Harold Thomas Whorton, 47, Haleyville, died Monday, Dec. 26, 1994, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence.
     Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 29, at Nichols Funeral Home, Haleyville, with Randy Nichols officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery, Haleyville.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary Whorton; five daughters, Nina Uselby, Cullman, Tyann Jones, Knoxville, Tn., Dewana Fletcher, Demetria Fletcher, Denise Fletcher, all of Huntsville; mother, Mamie Estep, Haleyville; two brothers, Jerry Whorton, Thomas Whorton, both of Huntsville; a sister, Louise Anderson, Haleyville; two grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews.
