Mary Kelty was born on 18 February 1855 in Delaware. She died on 17 October 1950 in Virginia. She is buried in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Newport News, Virginia.

Mrs. Mary Perkins, 97, died at 2 yesterday afternoon in Dixie Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of Chesapeake City, Del., she made her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. F. M. Perkins, 117 Shenandoah Road, Hampton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are three grandchildren, George C. Perkins, Elizabeth City County, Charles Atwood Perkins of Seaford and Mrs. W. D. White of Waynesville, N.C.; and seven great-grandchildren, George Sidney Perkins Jr., Mrs. Kenneth Caldwell, Miss Millie Mae White, James Stuart White, Jonothan White, Miss Margaret Perkins and John Atwood Perkins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at a time yet unannounced. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
