Perkins, John Sidney, 54, of 117 Shenandoah road, Hampton, died of a heart attack about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 1938. He was employed as a moulder in the shipyard here. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Flossie May Perkins; his mother; two sons, George S. Perkins and Charles Atwood Perkins; one daughter, Mrs. W. D. White, and three grandchildren, all of Hampton; and several cousins of Wilmington, Del. Funeral arrangements will not be completed pending the arrival of a son who is on the trial trip of the USS Boise. (Arrangements by Rouse).
