Services for Thomas G. Young, age 77, of Quitman were held June 14, 1990, at Wright's Funeral Home with Wright's in charge of arrangments. Dr. Rex Yancey and Rev. Ken Pullam officiated. Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Young passed away June 12, 1990, at Rush Foundation Hospital after a long battle with emphysema.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and Mason No. 514 Terral Lodge.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Hazel Young; three sons, Tommy Young of Mobile, AL, Jimmy Dale Young of Meridian, and Ronald Young of New Orleans, LA; two daughters, Shirley Poythress of Brandon and Suzanne Priester of Quitman; five granddaughters, Julie Darby of Huntington, L.I., N.Y., Amy Pulliam of New Orleans, Gloria and Holly Young of Meridian and Brandi Priester of Quitman; two grandsons, Phil Priester of Quitman and Brad Young of Meridian; two great-grandsons, Ryan and Shane Darby of New York; one brother, L.D. Young, Jr. of Quitman; one sister, Mrs. Eunice Larkin of Livingston, AL; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Doris Hope Dohery, age 80, of Tylertown, MS, were held June 15, 1990, at Union Baptist Church with Wright's Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Rev. John Edwards, Rev. Loyd Calcote, and Rev. Ron McLellan officiated. Burial was at Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Doherty passed away June 13, 1990, at Riley's Hospital.
She was a member of Tylertown Methodist Church, and Ladies Auxiliary of American Veterans.
Mrs. Doherty is survived by three sons, James Doherty of Meridian, William Doherty of Lake Charles, LA, and Bobby Doherty of Perry, GA; two daughters, Dorothy Moffett of Meridian, and June Dugas of Tylertown, MS; one brother, Wallace Hope of Arkansas; three sisters, Ruth Jenkins of Jackson, LA, Lydia Mae Pitts of Bogalousa, LA, and Ester Lee Harper of Gulf Coast; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by James Austin Doherty.

Services for Mary E. Murray, age 59, of Biloxi were held June 13, 1990, at Enterprise Methodist Church with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangments. Rev. Jim Hayes and Rev. Jerry Stephens officiated. Burial was at Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. Murray passed away June 11, 1990, at Biloxi Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Enterprise Methodist Church.
Mrs. Murray is survived by her husband, Clarence Murray of Biloxi; two sons, Benny Murray of Rayville, Louisiana, and Danny Murray of Biloxi; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Taylor of Biloxi; her mother, Margaret Bonds of Biloxi; one sister, Mrs. Loretta Lawson of Enterprise; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
