Funeral services for Jimmy "Coot" Jones were held Monday, February 26 from the Pachuta Church of God.
He was born on April 2, 1949 in Pachuta. He was a member of Pachuta Church of God where he served as an assistant Sunday School teacher.
After a lengthy illness, he passed away February 22 at Anderson's Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Jordan of Pachuta; a brother, Jimmy Earl of Hattiesburg; three sisters, Barbara Bonner of Rockford, IL, Mary Barnett and Billie Jean White of Pachuta; four aunts, Willie Ann, Lois, Lillie and Aunt Queen; three uncles, Eddie John and Rudolph; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Martha McCarty, "Ma Martha," age 80, are incomplete at this time. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She passed away Friday, March 2, at her granddaughter's home in Shubuta.
She is survived by two sisters, a twin sister, Mary Evans of Shubuta, and Leona McCarty of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, Mamie Wallace of Shubuta; four sons, Frank Carpenter of Shubuta, Celester and Willie Carpenter, both of Compton, CA, and Percy Carpenter of Los Angeles, CA; a very special granddaughter, Barbara Williams of Shubuta; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for William LaDon Harrell, age 29, of Stonewall, were held March 1, 1990, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Wright's in charge of arrangements. Burial was Bethel cemetery.
Mr. Harrell passed away February 27, 1989, at Riley's Hospital.
He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harrell of Stonewall; one sister, Mrs. Gail Burt of Meridian and several nieces and nephews.
