Services for John L. Blanks, age 79, of Rt. 3 Quitman, were held April 30, 1991, at St. Mary Episcopal Church with burial in the Enterprise Cemetery. Rev. John Gibson and Rev. Henry Hudson officiated.
Mr. Blanks passed away on April 28, 1991, at Jeff Anderson Hospital.
He was a former resident of Meridian; a resident of Clarke County for 40 years; a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church; a member of the Clarke County Economic Development Council; past president of Texas Morgan Horse Association and a longtime hotel management owner of Stafford Springs Dude Ranch.
Mr. Blanks is survived by his wife, Wanda "Molly" Blanks, Quitman; one step-son, Sgt. James C. Phillips, Germany; one daughter, Jackie B. Moss, Waynesboro; two grandsons; and a aunt, Ida Louise Simpson.
Pallbearers were Jim Fagen, Milton Breeze, Richard Davis, Billy Phillips and Don McNair.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's or St. Michael's Farm for Boys, Picayune.
Zola Gresham

Services for Zola Gresham, age 89, of Oklahoma, were held Monday, April 23, 1991, at the First Baptist Church in Snyder, Okla.
She passed away on April 19, 1991, at Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Okla., after a brief illness.
She is survived by her four daughters, Mrs. Glenn Starcher, Snyder, Okla.; Mrs. Cleo Williams, Quitman; Mrs. Howard Moore, Roosevelt, Okla.; Mrs. Wendall Woodward, Amarillo, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Odell "Piggy" Pritchett

Graveside services for Odell "Piggy" Pritchett, age 78, were held April 28, 1991, at Stonewall Cemetery, with Rev. Johnnie Mosley officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pritchett passed away on April 26, 1991, at Benchmark Nursing Center.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fleming passed away on April 24, 1991, at Winston County Medical.
She is survived by three sons, Garner Fleming, Jackson, Mack D. Fleming and Ricky Fleming, Quitman; five daughters, Peggy Simpson, Louisville; Evelyn Clardy, Anita Coody, Diane Young, Cherry Castle, Quitman; one brother, Dave Wright, Camden, S.C.; twenty-three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services for Wilton Pittman, age 70, of Rt. 1 Pachuta, were held April 25, 1991, at Homewood Methodist Church with burial in the Orange Cemetery. Rev. Harold Mills and Rev. Joe Lofton officiated. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
He was a member of the 345 Bombardment GP US Army and attended the Homewood Methodist Church.
Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ernesteen Pittman, Pachuta; one son, Charles Pittman, Pachuta; one daughter, Cheryl Pender, Pachuta; one sister, Ernestine Ulmer, Pachuta; four grandchildren, Jenifer Pender, Melissa Pender, LeAnn Pittman and Lacey Pittman.
Palbearers were Elkins Castle, David Snowden, Bill Reed, Randy Kidd, Sam Risher and Bobby Kidd.

He was a native of Enterprise; served with the USMC, WW II; a member of the Methodist church and a rural mail carrier.
He is survived by his wife, Ione Webb Hunter, Biloxi; daughter, Mrs. Donna Hunter, Schiegoleit-Chelmsord, Mass.; sisters, Mrs. Kate Ellison, Meridian; Miss Amelia Hunter, Enterprise; and two grandchildren.
