She is survived by her mother, Katherine Austin, formerly of Clarke County, now resides in Tuscaloosa, Ala.; father, Phillip Thrash, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; one step-brother, Phillip Thrash, Jr., Meridian; grandparents, Nell Austin, Meridian; Frank Austin; both are formerly of Clarke County; Frances Thrash, Meridian; and other relatives.

Graveside services for Irene Ivy Yarbrough, age 83, of Quitman, were held at May 4, 1991, at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Bob Powell officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Yarbrough passed away on May 3, 1991, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
She is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Ivey, Earl Ivey, both of Quitman; one sister, Earnestine Kamper, Quitman, several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Etel Allen, Stonewall; two sons, Ed Allen, Stonewall; Donnie Allen, Birmingham; one brother, John Collins, Montgomery, Ala.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
