Mary Francis Terrell

Services for Mary Francis Washington Terrell, of Shubuta, were held on December 15, 1990, at St. Peter Baptist Church with burial in St. Peter Cemetery.
   Mrs. Terrell passed away on December 7, 1990, at her home in Shubuta.
   She was born in Vossburg, on February 13, 1920, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Pink Washington. She was a member and usher of St. Peter Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel Terrell.
   She is survived by her five daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Brown, Shubuta, Mrs. Whilhelmenia Harper, Erie, Pa., Mrs. Shirley Barnett, Heidelberg; Mrs. Ethel Lee Lindsey, Baltimore, MD., Betty Jean Terrell, Quitman; four sons, LeRoy Terrell, Shubuta; Floyd Terrell, Heidelberg, J.C. Terrell, Vossburg, Tommy Terrell, Quitman; three brothers, Pink Washington, Jr., L.C. Washington, and Eugene Washington, all of Heidelberg, four sisters, Ida Mae Washington, Mrs. Lois Brown, Mrs. Louise Jones, Ms. Christine Washington, all of Heidelberg; twenty four grandchildren, eight great grand children, and a host of nieces and nephews.


Alvin Abner Mosley

Services for Alvin Abner Mosley, age 94, of Rt. 6, Meridian, were held December 19, 1990, at Snell Church of God with burial in church cemetery. Rev. Bernice Fleming and Rev. Eugene Moffett officiated. Wrights Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Mosley passed away on December 17, 1990, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
   He is survived by his wife, Lelia Mosley, Meridian; two sons, Horace Mosley, Robert Mosley, both of Meridian; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, Mrs. Majorie Robinson, both of Meridian; one brother, Thorton Mosley, Meridian; one sister, Mrs. Ida Abston, Gilbertown, Ala., eight grandchildren, seventeen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.


Franklin Landrus Moffett, Sr.

Services for Franklin Landrus Moffett, age 95, of Rt. 3, Meridian, were held on December 18, 1990, at Shady Grove Church of God with burial in church cemetery. Rev. John Edwards, Rev. Larry Caton, Rev. Tom Benson, and Rev. C.O. Germany officiated. Wrights Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Moffett passed away on December 15, 1990, at Riley's Hospital.
   He is survived by one son, Frank Moffett, Jr., Meridian; two daughters, Doris Lyon, Livingston, Ala., Justine Aycock, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; three brothers, Ernest Moffett, G.B. Moffett, and Robert Moffett, all of Meridian; one sister, Annie Mathis, Quitman; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.


Alton Roger Zachary

Services for Alton Roger Zachary, age 72, of Stonewall, were held on December 17, 1990, at Stonewall Baptist Church with burial in Stonewall cemetery. Rev. Albert McMullan officiated. Wrights Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Zachary passed away on December 14, 1990, at Mobile Alabama.
   He is survived by his wife, Margaret Zachary, Stonewall; and several cousins.


Ronald Ray Lawrence

Services for Ronald Ray Lawrence, age 55, were held on December 13, 1990, at Stonewall Assembly of God Church with burial in Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. C.A. Farmer and Rev. Doc Williamson officiated. Wrights Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Lawrence passed away on December 11, 1990, at Riley's Hospital.
   He is survived by his wife, Margaret C. Lawrence, Stonewall; one son, Reginald Lawrence, Jackson; five daughters, Shelia Hensley, Fall Branch, Tenn., Patricia Lawrence, Ashville, N.C., Lisa McKendrix, Tina Lawrence, Shannon Lawrence, all of Jackson; three step-daughters, Shelia G. Smith, Quitman, Michele Ivy, Meridian; Catina Lewis, Stonewall; one mother-in-law, Margie Combest, Stonewall; one brother, Leland Lawrence, Kirksey, Ky.; eight grandchildren.
