Services for Roland Jackson, age 80, of Rt. 3, Quitman, were held Tuesday, January 1, 1991, at East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Albert Creel and Rev. G.W. Moffett officiated. Wrights Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jackson passed away on December 30, 1990, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
He was a member of East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Melba Jackson, Quitman; one son, Ronald Roland Jackson, Houston, Texas; one brother, Charlie Jackson, Trinity, Texas; four sisters, Mildred Scotland, Lelia Wright, both of Trinity, Texas; Ruby Havard, Baytown, Texas; Clarice Welch, Rusk, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
