He passed away on March 15, 1991, at Anderson's Hospital.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Octavia Kennedy, Stonewall; two daughters, Delores Ezell, Dalewood, Earnestine Owens, Quitman; three brothers, Marvin Kennedy, Stonewall; Henry Kennedy, McKinney, Texas; and Raymond Kennedy, Laurel, Ms.; one sister, Lois Murphy, Crossett, Ala.; four grandchildren, Eddie Baker, Columbus; Brad Ezell, Dalewood; Billy Owen and Richie Owen, both of Quitman.

Mrs. Woodward is survived by two sons, Leon Woodward, Houston, Texas; Bill Woodward, Forth Worth, Texas; one daughter, Linda McInnis, Shubuta; two sisters, Eugenia Gatlin, Heidelberg; Ethel Touchstone, Vossburg; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
