Services for Haskel Walter Martin, age 65, of Rt. 1 Quitman, were held on March 24, 1991, at Wrights Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Rolling Creek Cemetery. Rev. Billy Brunfield and Rev. Pete Shirley officiated.
Mr. Martin passed away on March 21, 1991, at Jeff Andersons Hospital.
Mr. Martin is survived by two daughters, Gial Tucker, Quitman; Glenda Sue Burkett, Ridgecrest, Ca.; four brothers, James R. Martin, Joe Martin, Quitman; Ray Martin, Boston, Mass.; Sammy Martin, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Bertha Young, Stonewall; Helen Zitterow, Trucy Goldman and Merle Kennedy, Quitman; and three grandchildren.

Services where held for Jamie Inez Smith, age 68, on March 27, 1991, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Rolling Creek Cemetery. Rev. Charles Lewis and Rev. Vincent Elchman officiated.
Mrs. Smith passed away on March 25, 1991, at Singing River Hospital.
She was born on December 28, 1922, in Stonewall, and has been a resident of Jackson County for twenty-five years.
She is survived by her husband Ernest E. Smith of Escatawpa; two sons and daughters-in-law; Perry and Barbara Smith; Michael and Paula Smith, all of Escatawpa; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Janie and Bubba Thorton, Mobile; Jeannie Smith of Escatawpa; her mother, Winnie Belcher of Stonewall; two brothers, Billy Ray Belcher, Escatawpa and Jackie Belcher, Quitman; a daughter-in-law, Ann Smith, Escatawpa; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her son, Edward Wayne Smith.
