Joe Zdenek, Sr.

Services for Joe Jim Zdenek, age 64, of Eight Mile, Ala., were held September 29, 1990, with burial in Valhalla Memorial Gardens, with Radney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Zdenek passed away on September 27, 1990, at Mercy Medical Center.
   He is survivored by his wife, Maxine Zdenek, Eight Mile, Ala.; four sons, Joe J. Zdenek, Jr. Eight Mile, David Zdenek, New Orleans Thomas and Howard Zdenek, Eight Mile; four grandchildren, three brothers, Frank and William Zdenek, Theodore, Ala.; Mr. Charles Zdenek, Quitman; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.


Jerry Glenn Williams

Services for Jerry Glenn Williams, age 35, of Shubuta, Miss., were held September 27, 1990, at Shubuta United Methodist Church with burial in Shubuta Cemetary. Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Rev. MacCarney and Dr. Shaw Gaddy officiated.
   Mr. Freeman died on September 25, 1990, at University Medical Center.
   He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Williams, Shubuta; mother, Alice Starkey, Waynesboro; two sons, Jeromi Williams, Jami Williams; two daughters, Cristi Williams, Niki Williams, all of Shubuta; one brother, Bill Williams, Waynesboro; three sisters, Carolyn Turner, Sharry Doherty, and Paula Williams, all of Waynesboro.


Audry R. Cox

Services for Mrs. Audry Cox, age 63, of Stonewall, were held on October 1, 1990, at Souinlovie Baptist Church with burial in Old Souinlovie Cemetary.
   Mrs. Cox passed away on September 27, 1990, in Silver Hill, Alabama.
   She is survived by three sons, Jerry Lamar Rich, Stonewall; Perry Rich, Fayetteville, Tenn.; Perry Lamar Rich, Enterprise; one daughter, Diane Boman, Meridian; one brother, Howard L. Williams, Baytown, Texas; one sister, Norma Jean Fontaine, Silver Hill Ala.; nine grandchildren and four great greatchildren.


Essie Mars

Services for Mrs. Essie Mars, age 64, of Rt. 1 Quitman, were held on September 20, 1990, at Wrights Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetary. Rev. James Seale and Rev. Johnny Mosely officiated.
   Mrs. Mars passed away on September 19, 1990, at Watkins Hospital.
   She is survived by two sons, Bobby Mars, Waynesboro; Danny Mars, Quitman; three daughters, Brenda Cockrell; Phyliss Waller, Quitman; Marie Riley, Grenada; one brother, Samuel W. Dew, Quitman; four sisters, Lula Mae Doherty, Orange, Texas; Bessis Lewis, Stonewall; Dot Cranford; Ruth Fleming, Quitman; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
   She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Mars, and a son, Robert Lynn Mars.


Earline Baker McDonald

Services for Earline Baker McDonald, age 99, of Rt. 1 Quitman, were held on September 27, 1990, at Wrights Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Shady Grove Cemetary. Rev. Leland Goodman, Rev. Larry Cotten, and Rev. Tom Benson officiated.
   Mrs. McDonald passed away on September 25, 1990, at Benchmark Health Care.
   She is survived by one son, Evan McDonald, Quitman; four daughters, Grace Kosteck, Louise Norris, Edna Griffin, Quitman; Marie Gilbert, York, Ala.; one sister, Oleta Kenny, Laurel; fifteen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren.


Robert Ellis Jones

Services for Robert Ellis Jones, age 74, of Quitman, were held on September 26, 1990, at Wrights Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Rex Yancy officiated.
   Mr. Jones passed away on September 24, 1990, at Anderson's Hospital.
   He is survived by his wife, Oleta Jones; Glyn Ellis Jones, Quitman; one daughter, Janet J. Dearmond, California; and five grandchildren.
