Mrs. Keahey, age 83, of Rt. 2 Enterprise, passed away on December 6, 1992, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sarah Elizabeth Johnson

Services for Sarah Elizabeth Johnson were held December 10, 1992, at Freeman Chapel with burial at the East Shady Grove Cemetery. Rev. Frank Herrington and Rev. Tom Wilson officiated.
Mrs. Johnson, age 88, of Waynesboro, passed away on December 8, 1992, at Wayne General Hospital.
She was born January 16, 1904, and was the daughter of George Murff and Lizzie Battles.
Survivors include two sons, Mr. George Holifield, Stonewall; Mr. Homer Johnson, Waynesboro; three daughters: Ms. Loraine Johnson; Mrs. Genice Gutierez and Mrs. Lois Redfern, all of Waynesboro; two sisters: Mrs. Nellie Richardson, Stonewall; Mrs. Sadie Helveston, Eight Mile, AL; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Julian Edward Shirley

Services for Julian Edward Shirley were held on Decmeber 9, 1992, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Billy Whitaker officiated.
Mr. Shirley, age 61, passed away on December 7, 1992.
He is survived by two daughters, Shelie Chatn, Brandon, MS: Miss Sue Shirley, Conroe, TX; one brother, Mr. Leon Shirley, Shubuta and two grandchildren.
Ara Amelia Avera

Services for Ara Amelia Avera were held Monday, December 7, 1992, at 2:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Pete Shirley officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Avera, age 96, died at Kings Daughters and Sons Rest Home on Saturday, December 5, 1992. Born October 16, 1896, she was the daughter of the late Lewellyn and Amelia Irby. She was a former teacher and later was in the grocery business in Quitman with her husband, Sam Avera. He preceded her in death in 1965. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Quitman.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Belle McDonald, Betty Lee Brown, Ella Mae Irby, and Adna Sullivan. Brothers preceding her in death were: Major Irby, Edd Irby, Lewis Irby, Chester Irby, Robert Irby and Charles Irby.
Surviving her are a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Leo McDonald, Marlin McDonald, Raymond Irby, Merlin Irby, Edd Reed McDonald and Harwell Brown.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Allen Jenkins, Quitman; one daughter, Rebecca Nichole Jenkins, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter P.
