Vivian May LeCroy

Services for Vivian May LeCroy, age 89, of Slidell, La., were held on March 30, 1992, at Metairie Funeral Home with burial in the interment in Gardens of Memories.
   Mrs. LeCroy passed away on March 27, 1992, from pneumonia.
   She was a native of Shubuta, Mississippi, who lived most of her life in New Orleans, before residing the past seven years in Slidell.
   She was a secretary and homemaker, a member of the Baptist denomination and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi-Order of the Rose.
   Mrs. LeCroy is survived by two grandchildren, Leonard Sellers and Shannon Sellers; five nieces, Francis Roberts, Vivian Sisson, Mary Bailey, Clara West and Barbara Celotte.


Mary Etta Evans

Services for Mary Etta Evans, age 77, of Meridian, were held on March 29, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Bucatunna Cemetery. Rev. W.L. Shirley and Rev. Donald Campbell officiated.
   Ms. Evans passed away on March 27, 1992, in Meridian.
   She is survived by several nieces and nephews.


Lora Thornton Buckley

Lora Thornton Buckley, a longtime resident of Pachuta, Mississippi, and lately of Sherman Mills, Maine, passed away on March 29, 1992, at a healthcare facility in Brewer, Maine.
   She was born on August 13, 1888, in Clarke County, a daughter of Marion Wood Thornton and Leona Clare Lewis Thornton. Her late husband was John Melton Buckley of Enterprise.
   Surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Patterson of Sherman Mills, Maine and Ann Tyson of Asheville, North Carolina. Her three grandchildren are Paige Tyson of China, Maine; James Jordan Tyson of Old Town, Maine; and Thornton McCaskill Tyson of Seattle, Washington.


Edna Earl Duvall

Services for Edna Earl Duvall, age 61, of Rt. 2 Shubuta, were held on April 7, 1992, at Shubuta Baptist Church with burial in the Duvall family cemetery.
   Mrs. Duvall passed away on April 5, 1992, at Anderson's Hospital.
   She is survived by her husband, Paul Duvall, Shubuta; two sons, Terry Duvall, Brandon, Ms.; Dennis Duvall, Philadelphia, Ms.; one daughter, Sally Ball, Shubuta; one sister, Willie Merle Humphrey, Kokomo, Indiana; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
