Glynn Earl Ivey was born on 7 August 1947 in Quitman, Clarke, Mississippi. He died on 3 April 2003 in Dallas, Texas.

The Clarke County Tribune, 10 Apr 2003 Services for Glynn Earl Ivey were held April 7, 2003, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady Texas. Burial followed in the Rockwood Cemetery in Rockwood, Texas. Rev. Kenneth Barr officiated.
   Mr. Ivey died April 3, 2003, in Dallas, Texas.
   He was born August 7, 1947, in Quitman, Mississippi, to Eula Lee and Andrew Jackson Ivey. He was an auto body technician for 27 years with Lone Star Peterbilt. After retiring in July 2000, he built model cars. He loved to paint, fish and ride horses. He was a Baptist.
   Survivors include his mother, Eula Lee Ivy, Quitman; wife, Kim Ivey, Eustache, Texas; a son, Dewayne Costin, Houston, Texas; daughters, Tammie Ivey Rankin and husband, David, Houston, Texas; Robin Ivey Aaron and husband, Bobby, Stonewall; a brother, Larry Wayne Ivey, Quitman; two sisters, Karen Ivey and Ellen Goff, both of Quitman; grandchildren, Robby Aaron and Christopher Aaron and Corrie Rankin and Lauren Rankin.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Jackson Ivey.
