James Phillip Arrington (1926-2009)

James Phillip Arrington was born on 25 August 1926. He died on 14 October 2009 in Meridian, Lauderdale, Mississippi. He is buried in Covington Cemetery in Quitman, Clarke, Mississippi.

 Graveside services for James Phillip Arrington Sr. will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Covington Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Arrington, 83, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at The Specialty Hospital in Meridian. He was retired from the U.S. Army.
   Survivors include his wife, Susie Arrington of Quitman; son, James "Phil" Arrington Jr. of Quitman; daughter, Kathy Sue Madsen and her husband, Wayne, of San Angelo, Texas; and grandchildren, Katherine Madsen, Hans Madsen, Truman Madsen and Travis Madsen.
   Visitation will be Saturday, from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
