Bama Virginia Long was born on 13 January 1913. She died on 25 November 2012 in Laurel, Mississippi. She married Dalton Dennis Taylor on 29 August 1931 in Clarke, Mississippi.

 Bama V Garner 99 of Sandersville, died Sunday November 25, 2012 at her Graddaughters home in Laurel. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Taylor, Sr. and second husband, James E. Garner, 2 Daughters Mary Evelyn Gardner and Faye Buchanan, 1 Son Buddy Garner, 2 Brothers Albert Long and Asa Long and 1 sister Edna Poore.
   Services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Memory Chapel with burial to follow in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at Memory Chapel. Rev. Allan Gibson will officiate.
   She is survived by 4 Sons Dennis Taylor Jr. of Redding, California, James Garner of Voss, North Carolina, Billy Garner of the Sharon Community and Dwight Garner of Houma, La. 2 Sisters Frances Lundy of Mobile, Ala. And Ethel Crotwell of Morton, Ms. 22 Grandchildren, a host of Great and Great Grandchildren.
   Pallbearers will be Carl Buchanan, David Buchanan, Tom Gardner, Duane Garner, Mike Gilbert and Jonathan Pace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Mack Hutto and Randy Pace. Memory Chapel is in charge of services.
