Rosalie Barnes (1923-2005)

Rosalie Barnes was born on 28 September 1923 in Mississippi. She died on 6 November 2005 in Quitman, Clarke, Mississippi. She is buried in the Stonewall Cemetery in Stonewall, Clarke, Mississippi. She married X. L. Richardson on 28 August 1942.

Services for Rosalie Barnes Richardson were held November 9, 2005, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Richard Coats, Rev. C.A. Farmer and Rev. Dennis Coats officiated.
   Mrs. Richardson, 82, of Quitman, died November 6, 2005, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   She was born September 28, 1923, in Clarke County to Jim and Nancy Barnes. She was a homemaker.
   Survivors include her husband, X.L. Richardson, Stonewall; three sons, Mike Richardson and Carolyn, Meridian; Randy Richardson and Kathy, Stonewall and Bruce Richardson and Ronda, Quitman; a daughter, Terry Rich and Jerry, Stonewall; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Nancy English Barnes, two sisters, Kathryn Barnes Slaughter and Irene Barnes Warren.
   Serving as pallbearers were Dustin Lee, Brian Rich, Tim Richardson, Shannon Salter, Brice Richardson, Chris Richardson and Greg Felts.
