Charles Lamar Fleming

Services for Charles Lamar Fleming were held on May 6, 1993, at Andrews Chapel with burial in the church cemetery.
   Mr. Fleming, age 74, of Biloxi, passed away on May 4, 1993, in Biloxi. He was a native of Crandall, member of the Mississippi City United Methodist Church, and a Navy veteran of World War II.
   Survivors include his wife, Ann N. Fleming, Biloxi; two sons, Charles V. Fleming, Chunchula, AL; and George B. Fleming, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one sister, Mrs. Hal (Bettye) Bonner, Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Charlene Saranthus, and Tammy Walker, both of Eight Mile, AL; and Robert Fleming, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; three great-grandchildren, Marcus Saranthus, Jennifer Saranthus, and Wade Walker, Jr., all of Eight Mile, AL.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles D. and Estelle Slay Fleming, a brother, Willard M. Fleming, and a sister, Mrs. James (Rebecca) Kemp.
   The family prefers memorials be made to the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission, Mission Road, Biloxi, or to Mississippi City United Methodist Church, on Courthouse Rd., Gulfport.


Mary Frances Bass Rhoden

Services for Mary Frances Bass Rhoden were held on May 5, 1993, at Pachuta Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. J. Hardee Kennedy, Rev. Taylor Wallace and Rev. Julian Harbison officiated.
   Mrs. Rhoden, age 85, of Pachuta, passed away on May 2, 1993 in Meridian.
   Survivors include her husband, Louis C. Rhoden, Pachuta; one sister, Mrs. Celia Giesenschlag, Naples, FL; and three nieces.


Max Gardner

Graveside services for Max Gardner were held at Greenville Cemetery on May 10, 1993. Rev. Sam Orr officiated.
   Mr. Gardner, age 59, of Greensboro, GA, passed away on May 9, 1993, in Green County.
   He was born in Wayne County, MS on September 18, 1934 to Robert and Marie Becton Gardner. He was a 1959 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, and also a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, AL.
   Survivors include a daughter, Lilli G. Thomas of Greensboro; a son, Max Gardner, Jr., of Alpharetta; and four grandchildren - Stuart Thomas, Susan Thomas, Jacob Thomas and Emily Gardner.
   McCommons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Janet Delores Molony

Services for Janet Delores Molony will be held Thursday, May 13, 1993, at 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Steve White and Dr. Kermit McGregor will officiate.
   Mrs. Molony, age 52, of Stonewall, passed away on May 10, 1993, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
   Survivors include her husband, Gerald Molony, Stonewall; two sons, Steven Hamel, Mendenhall, and Mike Hamel, Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Donna Nichols, Columbia, and Mrs. Diane Gable, Quitman; one brother, Mr. Robert Bowers, Meridian; and eight grandchildren.
   Visitation will be at Wright's Funeral Home on May 12, 1993, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
